Day 1: ROME
Morning sightseeing of this monument-filled city begins
right after breakfast. Depart your Camping for a guided
tour to see Rome’s most famous and photogenic sights:
Fontana di Trevi, immortalized on film in the 1953
well-loved comedy, Roman Holiday; the Pantheon, an ancient
archaeological site dating back to 125 A.D.; Castel Sant’Angelo,
built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a tomb for himself
and his family; and St. Peter’s Square and Basilica, which
are actually located in Vatican City, the walled enclave
within Rome. Spend the afternoon at leisure, either
resting in your Camping, exploring Rome’s other ancient
ruins, or strolling through an art museum. Dinner is also
on your own tonight. (B)

Day 2: ROME

Day 3: ROME
Enjoy a relaxing morning at leisure. Perhaps linger over
your included breakfast to savor just one more cappuccino.
Or catch up on writing postcards to friends back home. In
the afternoon, a knowledgeable guide will show you more of
Rome’s most important sights: the Colosseum, the largest
amphitheatre in all of ancient Rome where gladiators used
to fight to the death; Circus Maximus, where ancient
chariot games were once held; the Basilica of St. Paul
Outside the Walls; and the Capital Square. Dinner is on
your own tonight; perhaps ask your tour guide for
recommendations for an especially good, authentic Italian
meal. (B)

Day 4: ROME - ASSISI -
SIENA - FLORENCE
You must already be in Rome because the tour will depart
early in the morning from Rome for Assisi. Your Travel
Expert (T.E.) can assist you with your Rome accommodations
or the addition of this tour to your existing vacation.
Early morning departure for ASSISI. If your Rome Camping
is located in the city center you will be picked up from
your Camping. The lovely panoramic ride through the center
of Italy toward the mystic town of Saint Francis still
surrounded by ancient walls; Assisi. This town was made
famous by destructive earthquakes in the 1980’s and now
has been completely restored. Visit the Basilica of Saint
Francis with its early Renaissance masterpieces by Giotto
and Cimabue. After plenty of time for photos, wondering
and shopping you will board your coach and proceed on to
SIENA, the beautiful medieval city renown for the Palio
horse race. You will tour this walled city and wonder at
the Campo and the Duomo; Siena is a lovely medieval town.
In the late afternoon you will continue on to FLORENCE.
Check into your lovely Camping, relax, take a nap or go
out and explore. Later you will be treated to a wonderful
dinner featuring local specialties. Relax and overnight at
the Camping.

Day 5: FLORENCE
Waken and rub your eyes and head down for a lovely buffet
breakfast featuring fresh pastries, breads, chesses and oh
don’t forget the world famous Italian espresso! After
breakfast you will enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the
heart of Florence and of the Renaissance. Visit the
beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria
del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John,
the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery housing the "David" by
Michelangelo, and Santa Croce, the 13th century Franciscan
church with Cimabue's famous crucifix. After your
informative and interactive tour the rest of the day is
yours for sightseeing or shopping. Return to your Camping
when you wish and grab a quick nap before a tasty dinner
and overnight at the Camping.

Day 6: FLORENCE – PADUA
– VENICE
After you get your fix of café at your buffet breakfast
you will depart for PADUA, where you will visit the famous
Cathedral of St. Anthony, guarded by Donatello's "Gattamelata".
Padua is a lovely town full of shops, café’s and history.
You will have plenty of time to take photos ask your guide
questions or just people watch. Later, continue on to the
most famous city in Italy; VENICE. Once you arrive to this
floating city you will be given an orientation tour of the
sites. Enjoy a guided walking tour of this unique city.
You will see the Piazza and Basilica of St. Mark, the
Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Prisons. Then
visit a glass factory to see the molding of glass. Check
in to your Venice Camping, relax or go back out and
explore on your own. Later in the evening you will be
served a dinner featuring the local specialties. Overnight
at the Camping.

Day 7: VENICE
Awaken in Venice, how romantic! Stroll down for your
buffet breakfast and another cup of that amazing Italian
coffee. Take your time to sleep in or and extra long
breakfast because today is on your own time schedule.
Check out the famous museums or the islands of Murano,
Burano and Torcello. In the evening enjoy dinner and
overnight at the Camping.

Day 8: VENICE - VERONA
- LAKE COMO
After your buffet breakfast load up because we are heading
for VERONA to see the town of Romeo and Juliet. Stroll
down the while marble shopping streets, snap photos or
people watch. Your guide will show you the highlights of
this unique Italian town. In the afternoon continue on to
COMO. The most famous lake in Italy, Lake Como. Lakeside
shops abound, cafes where the rich and famous go to be
seen, you are in the heart of high living in Como. Check
into your lovely Camping and go exploring because tonight
you will enjoy a lovely dinner featuring specialties of
Lake Como. Overnight at the Camping.

Day 9: COMO – MILAN
Your last chance for that yummy espresso during your
buffet breakfast. After you eat and load up we will depart
for MILAN and end of the tour at Central Railway station.
Your tour ends at the station in Milan where you can take
a transfer to the airport or a train to any other location
in Europe. You will work one-on-one with your T.E. (Travel
Expert) to arrange transportation from the train station
in Milan to your next destination or flight home.
