A superior 3-star hotel, the totally brand new Ambasciatori could easily
warrant a 4-star grading. Public areas and rooms are modern and spacious,
and standard facilities include air-conditioning, pay TV, mini-bar, etc.
etc. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, the airy bar is a
welcome meeting point for both business and leisure travellers alike.
But, what really sets the Ambasciatori aside from the others, is the
location - just get off the train at Santa Maria Novella railway
station, cross the road and you're literally in the lobby of the hotel.
All of Florence's major sights, galleries and museums are within short
walking distance.
