This hotel is located at the Porta Maggiore, one of the gates of Rome
and near the ancient Roman wall that surrounds the old city. It is also
close to Termini railway station, the air terminal and the spectacular
Church of St John Lateran which is the cathedral of Rome and where all
the popes were crowned until 1870. The hotel is composed of two
buildings dating from the beginning of the 20th century and both have
been completely refurbished. The rooms are slightly smaller than other
more expensive hotels but are still very acceptable and feature
bathrooms with shower, TV, direct-dial telephone, radio and hairdryer. A
good example of how a 3 star hotel should be - if the budget is small
but the expectations are high, the Hotel Daniela will satisfy your needs.
