Day 1: Rome

Arrive in Rome along with your fellow travellers and spend the day relaxing and preparing for your tour. If you arrive early, head into the city and see some of the sites that make Rome famous the world over.


Day 2: Rome

Day 4: Venice free day

Take the time to explore today on your free day in Venice. Visit St Mark’s square, board a gondola, try Venetian cuisine, visit museums & art galleries and get the full Venetian experience!


Day 5: Venice - Florence - Tuscany

Day 6: Tuscany free day

Day 7: Florence - Rome

Today we enjoy a Tuscan highlights driving tour, winding our way through one of the world’s most picturesque countryside landscapes. We also stop off in San Gimignano to sample local wines, and later take an orientation tour of the town of Siena...

Day 8: Rome

After breakfast, our tour concludes, and it’s time to say your goodbyes to your fellow travellers and of course the incredible land of Italy. Arrivederci Italia!

Included in our tour we take a locally-guided walking tour of the city, stopping off at some of the sightseeing highlights that make Rome famous. Highlights include the Pantheon, the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, the Roman Forum and much more.


Optional Experience: Tour of the Vatican City.


See St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums on our optional excursion to the Vatican. For centuries the home of the Catholic Church, you’ll see some of the world’s most famous artworks, including Michelangelo’s frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. This tour includes queue-jumping privileges for both the Vatican Museums and St Peter’s Basilica.

In Florence, enjoy a locally-guided walking tour taking in some of the city’s most famous attractions, and then experience traditional Italian antipasto on the terrace back at our hotel.


Optional Excursion:


Head off for the day to the stunning coastal region of Cinque Terre, where you can spend the day exploring a spectacularly beautiful section of the Italian coast.  Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the five villages of the region are linked by rail or by hiking trails, giving you the option of how best to explore this incredible scenic region. Sample traditional cuisine sourced from the surroundings and soak up the atmosphere of this stunning region.
